Clearing the storms from Yashiori Island felt like real progression, especially when players were finally able to see the sun after dealing with thunderstorms for so long. Weather is something Genshin Impact does well. Getting lost in the beautifully rendered fog is still fun. There are of course ways to clear the fog, and most of it is through the “A Particularly Particular Author” part of the world quest. Considering what players have had to deal with on other islands, this should be a walk in the park. However, Tsurumi Island is covered with a mist so thick that it can make navigation difficult.įortunately, some objects shine through the fog, acting as a beacon for players to head toward. Unfortunately, most of the new area is obscured by fog.
Interacting with it unveils a map of the island, so players can better explore without getting lost. Speaking with Katheryne starts “A Particularly Particular Author, ” which is part of the “Through The Mists ” world quest. Players can get to Tsurumi Island in Genshin Impact by first talking to Katheryne of the Adventurer’s Guild.
For those interested in checking out the new Tsurumi Island, here's all the content it adds. The smaller offshoot islands such as Ritou are not included, as they are considered part of one of the larger islands. This includes Narukami Island, Kannazuka, Yashiori Island, Watatsumi Island, Seirai Island, and now Tsurumi Island. This makes a total of six large islands that players can explore in Inazuma now. The Version 2.2 update is out for Genshin Impact and among other things, it adds Tsurumi Island, a whole new island for the Inazuma region.
